Estee Lauder Bois de Rose Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) isa medium-dark plum with strong, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage with a smooth, creamy texture that adhered well to lips and was very, very lightly tacky in feel (more like the feel that the lipstick wasn’t going to slide around on me than true tackiness). The coverage was even and lasted for five hours on me while hydrating my lips.

The Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick formula is supposed to have “high-intensity color” that hydrate lips with six-hour wear. It’s one of my favorite formulas, as the majority of the shades are creamy, smooth, pigmented, hydrating, and long-wearing (four to seven hours). They are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

Estee Lauder Power Grab Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a natural sheen. It had good pigmentation–almost opaque–with a lightweight, smooth, and lightly creamy texture. The color went on evenly and wore comfortably for five and a half hours on me. The formula felt moisturizing over time.

There was a noticeable sheen to the finish, but the lipstick adhered well to the lips and didn’t feel slippery or slide around easily. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly without dragging on the lips. This shade stayed on well for five and a half hours and was moisturizing while worn.
