Urban Decay Twitch Vice Lipstick
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.11 oz.) is available in six finishes, and this post is highlighting the Cream finish. This is the finish that absorbs most of the standard, Revolution Lipstick shades, and it is the largest range of all six finishes.
My initial impressions are: a fairly lightweight consistency that is creamy, smooth, and emollient with light to moderate tackiness (most shades were lightly tacky but a few were had a more noticeable tackiness) with rich color payoff (mostly opaque to totally opaque) that went on evenly. This finish makes lips appear the smoothest and most “plump” to me. A few of the lighter shades can show “lines” if you press your lips together, but it isn’t usually too noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The formula has been lightly to moderately hydrating and wearing four to six hours. I haven’t personally experienced feathering/bleeding beyond my natural lip line, though this is not something that I experience too often.
It’s denser and “heavier” than all of the other finishes, but it isn’t quite as creamy or as smooth as the Comfort Mattes. They slide on better and more readily than the Sheer Shimmers or Sheers, as they have more slip and creaminess overall. The Cream formula seems to have more pigmentation than the Mega Mattes (by a little bit) and almost as much as the Comfort Mattes. The Creams are the most forgiving to apply, as the thicker consistency and glossier finish hides imperfections better than other finishes (Mega Mattes are least forgiving).
