It had nearly opaque color coverage with a creamy, smooth texture that glided on effortlessly and covered well. On me, the color lasted for nearly six hours, was comfortable to wear, and was hydrating, too. YSL Pur Couture Lipstick ($36.00 for 0.13 oz.) is supposed to have “rich color” paired with “intense hydration … in just one stroke.” They have semi-opaque to opaque coverage with a lightweight, comfortable consistency that is creamy without being too slippery or “wet” in feel. They glide on without tugging and are lightly to moderately moisturizing for me. The texture is a little thinner, so I don’t think they’re quite as pigmented as claimed, and some colors would pull into lip lines over time, but the creamier consistency made it easier to smooth out if I noticed it. These have a fruity, floral scent to me but no discernible taste.
