MAC Sophisticate Face Kit

MAC Sophisticate Face Kit ($49.50 for 0.43 oz.) includes six eyeshadows, two blushes, and two lipsticks. Worth pointing out right away is that the back of my palette says the second blush on the left is Simply Bliss, whereas Nordstrom’s product listing had Cream Soda in its place; I checked both of them, and the blush in this palette is slightly more pink-tinted and a little lighter but not by much.

Linda is described as a “peachy tan shimmer.” It’s a muted, medium-dark orange-copper with hints of brown and warmer undertones paired with a pearly sheen. Simply Bliss is described as a “light neutral coral.” It’s a muted, light-medium peachy-coral with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It darkens as it is applied to the bare skin, so unless you have very dry skin and/or powder prior, it may do the same. The texture was slightly powdery but blendable with good pigmentation.
