Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is supposed to be a multi-tasking product that can be used on lips and cheeks, and the formula says it will hydrate the skin and uses ceramidone that acts like a “poly-filler to refill and plump the skin.” From the description, it sounds like these are a “natural flush,” so not fully opaque coverage but some color. As you might expect, the product performs better on the cheeks than on the lips, though I wasn’t overly impressed with it as a cream blush either. As a blush, it must be applied directly from the tube in order to achieve any visible color; using fingertips, most of the color adhered to the fingertip rather than transferring onto the skin, and with a brush, the formula seemed streaky and very, very sheer and difficult to build up intensity. This meant it wasn’t ideal for applying over a base, as the consistency isn’t so creamy that hardly any pressure is used, so it ended up moving my foundation if I used it over a blush (but I tested longevity on bare skin). Once on, it dries down to a semi-dewy finish; it’s not really shiny or wet-looking, but it’s not matte and never fully sets in place, so the wear time was six hours or less as a blush. As a lip product, they’re just drier in feel, though they weren’t as drying as I expected given how parched they make my lips look. It’s a lip product that really needs a topper, be it lip balm or gloss, to smooth out the lips–the Beach Stick on tended to emphasize the texture of the natural lip, giving it that drier, parched appearance. They yielded more color payoff as a lip product than the cheek (they seem to adhere better).

Charlotte Tilbury Es Vedra Beach Stick ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a “mystic sunset coral.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark coral-red with gold shimmer. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage. Charlotte Tilbury Formentera Beach Stick ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is “sun-kissed berry.” It’s a subdued, medium-dark brown with hints of rose and a soft sheen. This was one of the less shimmery shades in the range, and it had a more emollient consistency, which helped it look better on the lips but minimized its wear time–five hours on the cheeks, three hours on the lips (lightly drying). Charlotte Tilbury Ibiza Beach Stick ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is “burnished bronze.” It’s a medium-dark, rich bronze with warm, golden yellow undertones and light gold shimmer. Charlotte Tilbury Las Salinas Beach Stick ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is “candy, fresh, pretty pink.” It’s a brightened, light-medium pink with cool undertones and warmer gold shimmer. It had sheer to semi-sheer color payoff and was one of the more difficult ones to build-up and too many layers made it look incredibly splotchy, so I wouldn’t recommend this for medium or deeper skin tones looking to wear it as a cheek color. Charlotte Tilbury Moon Beach Beach Stick ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a “rose gold, iridescent peach.” It’s a light-medium, gold-shimmered orange with a hint of red in its undertone. It had sheer to semi-sheer color payoff that is really more of a highlighter on my medium skin tone, so this is another shade better as a blush shade for fair skin tones but can still work as a highlighter on other skin tones. The color had turned patchy after four and a half hours of wear on cheeks and two and a half hours on lips but settled significantly and was drying.
