OCC Manhunter Lip Tar (Metallic)

OCC Manhunter Lip Tar (Metallic) ($18.00 for 0.33 fl. oz.) is described as a “red-orange with golden shimmer.” It’s a vibrant, orange-red with warm undertones and a very fine, coppery-gold metallic shimmer. MAC Head in the Clouds (LE, $16.00) is redder. Chanel Enigmatique (135) (P, $34.00) is more muted, redder. Milani Cherry Crave (P, $5.49) is redder. This is a new and permanent shade in the Lip Tar range. Manhunter had intense, fully opaque color coverage with barely any product. The consistency was lightweight, thin but not watery, and easy to apply/blend across the lip for a smooth, even color application. It has more of a semi-matte finish and a light shimmery sheen, but it is a lot less metallic than other hues in the Metallic range, which also gave it a smoother feel on the lips. It wears nine and a half hours on me with a few stray shimmers going outside the natural lip line over time, but the color wears well and leaves behind a strong stain. I found it just slightly drying towards the very end of wear.
