Clinique Nude Pop Pop Lip Colour + Primer Lipstick ($19.50 for 0.13 oz.) is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and a cream finish with light shine. The lipstick had good color coverage, but it needed a second layer for full opacity, though I felt like by adding more, it looked less even along the edges and was more prone to product settling into lip lines.
With just one layer, there was slight build-up of product in my deeper lip lines but not enough that it was really visible in person (just in the close-up photos). The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and lightweight, which made it comfortable to wear over the four hours it lasted for. The formula didn’t seem particularly smoothing of my lip lines, but it was hydrating.

It had buildable coverage from medium to semi-opaque with a lightweight, lightly emollient texture that glided easily across my lips. The color applied evenly and some of my finer lip lines seemed more smoothed out. It wore well for four hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

The texture was moderately emollient with a little more slip than other shades, though it didn’t feel like a high-maintenance shade. This shade wasn’t as smoothing to lip lines as others, but it went on better than some other, emollient versions I’ve tried in this color family. It stayed on well for four hours but settled a bit into my lip lines over time, though the formula was hydrating.
