Bite Beauty Gemini Amuse Bouche Two-Toned Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is two lipsticks in one with each half of the bullet being another shade. The edge is rounded, which is different than the typical Amuse Bouche lipstick bullet. I’m not a huge fan of the application from the bullet and would recommend a lip brush for precision as well as to ensure one doesn’t get the other half on accident. If you use a lip brush, it’ll be easier to keep more of the bullet clean if you expect to use the shades individually as well as layered. The quality of the formula was in line with past Amuse Bouche shades–comfortable, pigmented, long-wearing–but I think that releasing a dual-ended lipstick (like they have for the holidays) might have been better. Gemini (Left) is a soft, medium-dark peach with subtle warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly across my lips, though there was a smidgen of product that gathered in my deeper lip lines (but it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance). The texture was smooth, lightly creamy and just tacky enough to adhere well to my lips and not slide around but never felt heavy on. It lasted for five hours and was hydrating.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is supposed to have “bold, creamy color” with “extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear.” The majority of the range is very pigmented–typically opaque with one pass–with a few shades being semi-opaque but usually buildable. All 34 shades are shimmer-free and vary being a soft satin finish to a natural finish (light shine but not glossy).

The consistency is very lightly creamy to lightly creamy with some shades requiring light-medium pressure and can pull the lip a bit when gliding it across the lips, though the color doesn’t appear ragged and the bullet itself doesn’t feel stiff (while other shades applied without tugging, so check individual shade reviews!) The majority of the shades I’ve tested have been lightly hydrating to non-drying and fairly comfortable to wear for the long-haul. They wear longer than average, from four to eight hours, depending on the intensity and propensity of the shade to stain.
